The "professional" office where I work failed to support me during a most difficult time.?

Post a card on the bulletin board that says "Thank you for your support and kindness in my time of need". It may open some of their eyes to their rudeness to your pain. It may not work, but is certainly worth the try. Maybe they are just waiting for a page of time, however where I work, the company sends flowers, that may have been sent to the wrong funeral home, someone supplies a card, and people sign and donate according to their closeness to the grief-stricken coworker.
