Why does my chest freezer seem to be leaving water on the floor? it has no drip tray and it is manual defrost.?

it happened once last year a little and yesterday i came home to to a small paddling pool in the kitchen. i cant find a leak on from it anywhere but it seems to be coming from the bottom somewhere.help!!!
