Was this poor tip justified?

Why in the world would someone do that to a server when clearly she did her job. Do you know the the goverment taxes 8% of a server's sales, so she paid 3% out of her pocket technically? Very rude and very wrong if they didnt have the $ to eat there and leave an appropriate tip then they should stay at home or go to McDonalds for a value meal.
