Rough testicals problem?

im 16, ive nvr had any kind of , but a day or 2 ago, my sack got really rough and kind of hurted, i thought it was just the uncomfortable underwear but after switching its still rough but not as much pain now. it feels as if its dried out its a bit redish and im not sure how to fix it or what caused it. im thinking of going to doctor but wanted to ask here first. i heard it might be a reaction to body wash, but ive been using the same kinds for a long time.
