A medical question. Female immune system.?

Women live longer than men. In making babies they share their immunity with the young. When ill, women recover faster, and continue to work through illnesses that would incapacitate a male. There could be some justification to their saying that it's because "they have to." My Q is: do women have a better immune system than men? The evidence would suggest that this is so.
