If I have OCD can I get SSI (Social Security)? my mom has SSI also. If so would it mess me up in the future?

Me and my mother are talking about it right now. My mother has had Social Security because she is disabled and she can't work so she gets $674 a month for her 4 children and herself. I am not working I am a senior in high school but I kinda have this disorder that I can't control which is obsessive compulsive disorder. I take really really really long showers I don't know why but I can't control it. I am 19 years old since I have this disorder and I am not working can I get SSI if Obama doesn't cut the Social Security checks? I would just like to have it to pay for a car and all. And also would it mess me up in the future? Like will it give me bad credit or anything when I am older? Please give me advice. Any advice is needed.
