Badminton Training Time HELP!?

I don't play badminton and i wanna join the jv high school badminton team. Im gonna take one hour lessons evry week. Will this be enough to make the jv badminton team when i have ttryouts in january??? I have about 4 and a half months. My badminton instrustor is pretty good at teaching me.
