What movie is about an older man who wants to play on a game show who is engaged to a young witch?

The witch of course has a black cat and has some sort of spell on the older man to help him win on this game show ( i think it was jeopardy ). He has a daughter who suspects the woman is a witch and gets some advise from someone and starts to cleanse the home and tires to get the fiance to shows she is a witch to her father. That is all I can remember for now...Any help would be grateful. I know it was like an older 80s, maybe early 90s movie. Im sure it wasnt a huge movie. I dont remember I was a young girl...Thank you
