Yet another eg of the Welsh wanting devolution and independence but not wanting to pay for it?

I agree. If they are desperate for independence let them have it and let them pay for everything themselves. Both the Welsh and the Scottish have seriously bad attitude's towards the English anyway, And yet when they need help they come begging back. If they want help from the English government, then there should be some show of appreciation. Something like once a year all Welsh and Scottish people should get down on one knee and sing 'God save the queen' :). I think that would be fair!!!!
