My 15 year old son has a cl A misdemeanor . What can I expect at the court hearing?

I live in Texas. My 15 yr old son was visiting his mother (my ex wife) got into a fight with his step dad. Police were called they charged him with ault (family something). Is there a chance they could put him in some jail type facility? He is a very angry person who is also experimenting with drugs. His mother had him come live with me over a year ago and he does not seem to be getting any better. Maybe some jail time would do him good. At his high school he has received numerous tickets for misbehaving. He got sent to a alterantive school for being under the influence at school. Would all that make a difference with the judge? wondering if I should bring that info to court with me? He needs alot of help and I really dont know what to do. I dont have the money to pay for one of those nice ranch type teen rehab places. Any suggestions? will they make him serve any time? Thanks!!!!!!
