I was up at the airport today, I saw a butch/fem couple?

The woman was older and was quite pretty and fem while her partner looked like a man with a horrible man haircut. She didnt really look like a man, everyone could tell she was a wannabe man. Anyway, i didnt understand why this pretty older woman wanted to date this man/woman? what does she find attractive in a woman who looks like a man? just date a man you know!!
