I had a sub total/hysterectomy with a bilateral salpingo oophrectomy years ago. now they found an adnexal m?

I don't understand this diagnosis cause I thought it would be related to ovaries which I don't have. I have been told it is about 4 cm and it is causing me pain. I am still waiting on results from a CA125 test. Should I be worried?
